Terms and Conditions

  1. Introduction

    1. This advertiser's agreement "the Agreement") is made between Home s in Southport ("We") and the Advertiser ("You").
    2. By entering into this agreement you are confirming you have read these Terms and Conditions and agree to them.
    3. You agree to Homes in Southport publishing your advert details on our web site.

  2. Your Responsibilities

    1. You have the legal right to sell the property.
    2. The description you supply is true and accurate and not misleading. Homes in Southport do not take any responsibility for the accuracy of the information supplied and cannot be held liable.
    3. You will pay the full advert fee before the advert will be published.
    4. You have obtained permission from the owner of any photographs used in the advert. Homes in Southport will not be held liable for breach of copyright.
    5. If you have a contract with an Estate Agent, you have independently checked your contract with regards to the terms and conditions that you must pay the Estate Agents commission. If later it is found that you are legally bound to pay the Estate Agents commission, Homes in Southport will not be liable.
    6. Only one property may appear in each advert.
    7. You will set your own selling price.
    8. You will arrange and conduct viewings for the advertised property.
    9. You will inform Homes in Southport once the advertised property is sold.

  3. Homes in Southport's Responsibility

    1. We will supply and install a 'For Sale' board, where requested, within 10 working days.
    2. Services that fall under the "Until Sold" option will be reviewed after a year has passed from the date the service was purchased. After which Homes in Southport will have the right to discontinue the advert.
    3. We will, to the best of our efforts, ensure that the Homes in Southport website is available at all times. We reserve the right to take the site 'off-line' without prior notice for essential maintenance and upgrades.
    4. Information on the site should be considered as a general guide only. Information provided by Sellers should not be taken as accurate and should be verified independently by Buyers for themselves. Homes in Southport cannot be held liable for any details or measurements that are incorrect.

  4. Refunds

    1. You may cancel this contract by informing Homes in Southport in writing or email within 24 hours of placing the advert.
    2. No refund will be made after 24 hours or after you have received an enquiry in your account, whichever is first. All advertising after 24 hours is classed as 'Free of Charge'.
    3. Under no circumstances will our liability exceed the value of advertising fee received.
    4. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
